Imagine going without a coat, shoes, or even socks. For millions of children and adults experiencing homelessness and other urgent need situations across the country, this is the reality. Napleton's Palatine Subaru & Napleton's Schaumburg Subaru partnered with Operation Warm®, a national nonprofit focused on connecting children with the resources they need to thrive. On 2026-01-14, Napleton's Palatine Subaru & Napleton's Schaumburg Subaru donated 432 Coats to JOURNEYS | The Road Home. These essential items not only help keep children protected, warm, and dry, it has a significant impact on a child's mental and emotional well-being. The Rotary Club of Palatine Foundation recently partnered with Napleton's Palatine Subaru at our 17th annual Oktoberfest celebration. Over the years, our 3-day festival has become a signature event for Palatine and the northwest suburban community. The event attracts thousands of people from the greater Chicagoland area. Subaru provided their time, talent, and a significant financial commitment to keep our event environmentally responsible. They are at the forefront in leading by example and putting the needs of the community as a top priority. Since 2008, the Rotary Club of Palatine Foundation has raised over $1 million through our Oktoberfest event. What is unique about our Oktoberfest is not only do the proceeds go to local charitable organizations, but we run the festival in an environmentally conscious manner. This is the 3rd consecutive year working with Subaru where we reduced waste by providing composting and recycling stations. We have kept multiple thousands of pounds of waste out of landfills since 2023. We could not accomplish that goal without our collaboration with Napleton Subaru, Palatine Cool Cities, and the Collective Resource Compost Team. Our Rotary Club is concerned about the environment, and this event provides an opportunity for us to work with others in the community to keep our neighborhood clean while we help local charities. We could not do it without the help of the Subaru Team. They are great to work with and I encourage you to seek them out when considering a new vehicle.

At Napleton’s Palatine Subaru, the Subaru Love Promise is more than a promise—it’s a purpose. That purpose shines brightest through the dealership’s ongoing commitment to the Violet Foundation for Pediatric Brain Cancer, an organization born from the legacy of a courageous little girl named Violet. In both May and October 2025, Palatine Subaru transformed everyday dealership activity into life-changing support. In honor of Pediatric Brain Cancer Awareness Month, and again in celebration of what would have been Violet’s 7th birthday, the dealership donated for every vehicle sold and every oil change performed. These months of giving resulted in over $22,000 raised to fund pediatric brain cancer research and support families facing a devastating diagnosis. To date, the Violet Foundation has provided grants to more than 200 families, offering an average of $2,000 per grant to ease the financial strain brought on by treatment, travel, and time away from work. Palatine Subaru stands proudly behind this mission, ensuring local families receive the support they desperately need. In addition to dealership fundraising, Napleton’s Palatine Subaru sponsored the 3rd Annual Violet’s Walk in the Park, the Foundation’s largest event of the year. This year’s walk unveiled a milestone announcement: a $1 million commitment to bring focused ultrasound technology to Lurie Children’s Hospital—making it one of only four pediatric hospitals nationwide to offer this cutting-edge, non-invasive treatment option. Palatine Subaru’s dedication continues through the Subaru Share the Love® Event as well. In 2024, Subaru and the dealership collectively raised over $29,000 for the Violet Foundation, and they are determined to surpass that impact during the 2025 event. From fundraising to awareness to supporting groundbreaking medical advancements, Napleton’s Palatine Subaru remains driven by compassion, inspired by Violet, and committed to creating a future where children with brain cancer have more hope than ever before. At Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital, The Cancer Prevention Program, our mission is to care for our patients and their families not only with excellent medical treatment but with compassion that extends beyond our walls. This is why partnerships like the one we share with Napleton’s Palatine Subaru truly mean so much to us. In June, we were so grateful to receive a very kind donation of beautifully packaged blankets, stuffed in heart-shaped pillowcases thanks to the Subaru Loves to Care program. These creative and thoughtful gifts have brought warmth and comfort to our patients receiving cancer treatment and have reminded them and our team that they are not alone on their journey. When patients receive something as simple as a soft blanket in a heart-shaped pillowcase, it reminds them that others truly understand how difficult the cancer journey can be. These gestures let our patients know that people truly care and there is a caring community sharing their support to people going through one of the most challenging times in their lives. It’s moments like these that remind us of what an incredible community we have and the reassurance that people they’ve never met care about what they’re facing. We deeply appreciate the time, care, and effort that Napleton’s Palatine Subaru puts into making this possible. Your partnership helps us deliver human connection that is at the heart of everything we do at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital. Thank you for your incredible kindness and generosity from the health care team and the patients that will receive these super soft blankets. At Chicago Collegiate Charter School, we believe in the power of exposure, opportunity, and unwavering support. This year, we were once again reminded of that power thanks to Napleton Palatine Subaru’s Valedictorian Sponsorship of our annual Beyond the Halls benefit event. Your generosity lit a path our students are now proudly walking toward college and beyond. Because of your support, we raised $100,000 to fund our annual college tour, expand college readiness programming, strengthen alumni support, and provide real-world learning experiences for nearly 300 students in grades 6 through 12. Your sponsorship made it possible for students to visit colleges across the country an experience that opened minds and created new possibilities, especially for scholars like Ranayah Rocquemore, a future first-generation college student who will be attending Columbia College Chicago this fall. The impact of Subaru’s Love Promise is felt in the quiet breakthroughs in classrooms buzzing with questions, at kitchen tables where families plan for the future, and in the growing confidence of students who are finally beginning to believe they belong in those very spaces. To say we are grateful would be an understatement. Thank you for being a champion of education, equity, and opportunity. You’re helping equip our students with more than knowledge you’re helping them grow into the leaders our communities need. Warmly, Reena Smith, Director of Marketing and Development

Napleton's Palatine Subaru hosted another fantastic adoption event for the dogs of Second City Canine Rescue on June 28, 2025. Thanks to their continued partnership and support, the event was a heartwarming success. We brought 10 adorable dogs to the event, and we're thrilled to share that sweet Carmel was adopted by a Napleton employee. 💙 It was a perfect match! As always, the Napleton staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. From helping with setup to making us feel welcomed throughout the day, their kindness and teamwork never go unnoticed. Their dedication makes every event not only easier but more enjoyable for our volunteers, our pups, and the families who come out to adopt. We’re so grateful for this ongoing partnership and can’t wait to return in October for the Subaru Make a Dog's Day adoption event!

Imagine having to go without a coat, shoes, or even socks. For millions of children and adults experiencing homelessness and other urgent need situations across the country, even here in Palatine, this can be a harsh reality. Helping others is the key to a strong community which is why Napleton's Palatine Subaru believes in helping to support individuals and families in urgent need. This season, for our Subaru Loves to Help® initiative, we are partnering with Operation Warm®, a national nonprofit focused on connecting children with the resources they need to thrive. Through this partnership and other historical Subaru Loves to Help efforts, Subaru and retailers like us will have helped nearly 900,000 children and adults in urgent need so far. On 1/13/25, Napleton's Palatine Subaru partnered with JOURNEYS | The Road Home and donated 120 coats to children in urgent need. These essential items not only help keep children protected, warm, and dry, it can have a significant impact on a child’s mental and emotional well-being.

Palatine Library District is grateful to have found a partner in Napleton’s Palatine Subaru who values literacy and helps us achieve our mission of boosting literacy for all ages and build a lifelong love of literacy. One of the ways we do this is through our Winter Reading Challenge. Every year, we choose a nonprofit to receive a grand donation from our sponsors like Subaru once our community meets our reading goal. This year, our community came together and read 13,647 books, exceeding our goal of 12,000 books! Because of this accomplishment, Subaru’s donation and sponsorship of this program directly benefits Palatine Historical Society. We’re happy to say that their donation will help a high school senior who resides in the Palatine Township pay for their college tuition. Subaru’s donation to this program went directly to the Palatine Historical Society’s scholarship fund amounting to a $1500 scholarship. At the end of the program, we got together with representatives from the historical society and Napleton’s Palatine Subaru’s general manager for celebratory photos to honor the community’s achievement.

I have had the pleasure to partner with the leadership team at the Napleton Palatine Subaru dealership at our annual Oktoberfest event the last two years. As our environmental sponsor, they allow us to reduce our waste impact of the Oktoberfest event. We have reduced waste by two tons via composting, collected nearly 5,000 pounds of recycling materials, and educated the public on how they can help reduce their impact to the environment. Napleton, along with Palatine Cool Cities and the Collective Resource Compost Cooperative, have enabled the Rotary Club of Palatine to be a leader in advocating for a healthy environment in our community. This initiative as a whole has raised our Club's image and standing in Palatine and nearby villages. Randy Klingner Environmental Chair Rotary Club of Palatine [email protected]

Palatine Library District is incredibly fortunate to have found a community partner in Napleton’s Palatine Subaru. Their donations help us achieve our mission of inspiring connection, curiosity, and joy through literacy and enrichment in patrons of all ages, especially children. This year as we celebrated our 100th anniversary, we wanted to honor our history and work with local businesses that make an impact in our community. Napleton's Palatine Subaru was the first business to support this tremendous occasion by donating to our mini golf fundraiser weekend. In September, we turned our library into a 19-hole mini golf course for a weekend of fun while raising money for a great cause. Subaru's donation helped us raise $10,000 that weekend to purchase a LiteZilla Lite Brite wall for the Youth Department. A Lite Brite is a fun, creative activity for children that develops their critical-thinking, problem-solving, and fine motor skills. As a library, we're ecstatic to be able to provide an activity for children that will help them develop and grow. The Lite Brite wall will be installed at Palatine Library's Main Branch this spring.

For years, Napleton's Palatine Subaru has demonstrated community support through its partnership with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and Illinois Cancer Specialists - Arlington Heights via the Subaru Loves to Care initiative. This program delivers blankets, patient care kits, and heartfelt messages to cancer patients. On August 5th, the dealership's team made a special delivery to Illinois Cancer Specialists - Arlington Heights, providing warmth and support to patients. The blankets offered comfort, the care kits included essential items, and the handwritten messages conveyed kindness. The heartfelt visit deeply touched patients and their families, reaffirming the community's support. The initiative fosters hope and solidarity in the fight against cancer. Napleton's Palatine Subaru's ongoing commitment to this cause continues to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives.

In May of 2024, Napleton's Palatine Subaru raised funds to support the Violet Foundation for Pediatric Brain Cancer. For every vehicle sold and every oil change performed, the store donated to the foundation to help support research for pediatric brain cancer and support local families who have a child with a diagnosis. The store generated over $13,000 in donations for the month of May!

I am grateful for the opportunity to express my heartfelt appreciation to you and Napleton Palatine Subaru for the unwavering support you have shown towards Chicago Collegiate Charter School. The request to share a Subaru "Love Promise" story prompted me to reflect on the profound influence your generosity has had on both our school and the wider community. The Subaru Love Promise embodies a vision of respect for all people and a commitment to making the world a better place. This belief aligns perfectly with our mission at Chicago Collegiate. We see every day how the Love Promise Community Commitment positively influences the lives of our students and families. Thanks to Napleton Palatine Subaru’s generous sponsorship, our annual benefit, "Beyond the Halls," held on June 7th at the beautiful Loft on Lake, was a resounding success. We raised over $70,000, which will significantly fund our programs and support nearly 300 students from grades 5-12. Your support is more than financial; it represents hope and opportunity for youth at risk of violence, trauma, and lack of resources. Your commitment to making a positive impact in our community goes above and beyond. Not all heroes wear capes, and your dedication to supporting education and at-risk youth truly exemplifies this truth. Your contributions help us create a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment for our students, enabling them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. Sharing this Subaru Love Promise story is a meaningful way to highlight how Napleton Palatine Subaru’s support has made a tangible difference in our organization and community. Your generosity helps us meet immediate needs and empowers us to create long-term, sustainable change. Thank you once again for showering us with support and helping to change the lives of nearly 300 youth. Your partnership is invaluable to us, and look forward to continuing to work together to make a positive impact.

Napleton's Palatine Subaru hosted an adoption event for the dogs of Second City Canine Rescue on June 22, 2024. We brought nine dogs to the adoption event and to say that Napleton's staff were helpful would be an understatement. They directed traffic and lifted all of our heavy items; they even bought us pizza! General Manager Theo Davis was particularly kind and helpful and everything you could want in an adoption partner. We were able to find new homes for several dogs and are so excited to be coming back to Napleton's Palatine Subaru in October for Subarus make a dog's day adoption event.

In October, Napleton’s Palatine Subaru held an event in the showroom and service department to raise funds for the Violet Foundation for Pediatric Brain Cancer. For every car sold and for every car serviced, on behalf of our customers, a donation was made to the Violet Foundation. The Violet Foundation helps to fund research for pediatric brain cancer treatments and also helps support individual families in the Chicagoland area. This October, in collaboration with our wonderful sales and service customers, the portion from sales and service was over $11,000 contributed to the fund.

Chicago Collegiate is incredibly fortunate to have established a longstanding partnership with Napletons Palatine Subaru. This partnership has played a pivotal role in our mission to empower every single scholar with the necessary academic skills, intellectual habits, and character traits to thrive in college, make a positive impact in their communities, and ultimately transform the world. The unwavering commitment of Napletons Palatine Subaru to our cause is truly a "Love Promise" as evidenced by their continuous support throughout the years. Their generous sponsorship of our annual "Beyond the Halls" fundraiser and "Annual Golf Outing" resulted in a huge success that allowed us to raise over $100,000. These funds provide our scholars with essential school supplies, laptops, computers, as well as facilitating enriching field trips and college visits. We cannot express enough gratitude towards Napletons Palatine Subaru for their unwavering participation, unwavering commitment, and unwavering enthusiasm in changing the lives of scholars residing on the far South Side of Chicago. Their dedication serves as an inspiration to us all, demonstrating that a company has the power to make a profound difference and shape the future leaders of our world.

Much credit and many thanks to Napleton’s Palatine Subaru and to Danny Napleton for their essential support of our low-waste objective for the local 2023 Oktoberfest held in Palatine, IL from September 15 to 17. In collaboration with the Palatine Rotary Club and the Palatine Cool Cities (PCC) organization, Napleton’s Palatine Subaru’s contribution was vital to the success of the goal (and the first ever attempt) to manage and reduce the amount of landfill waste generated at the Rotary Club Oktoberfest. Napleton was the sole sponsor of the low-waste initiative, and beyond sponsorship, Danny and his team were active and earnest in the planning process and were onsite for over 20 hours as enthusiastic event volunteers. The Palatine Rotary Club Oktoberfest is an annual three-day event that attracts between 15,000 to 18,000 visitors. (The 2022 Oktoberfest raised over $700k for charity so this is an impactful local event.) The focus is, of course, on food (9 diverse food vendors) and drink (beer and wine tent). As a result, a considerable amount of waste is generated. Napleton’s sponsorship funded a contract for services with Collective Resource, a local compost collection cooperative, who provided crucial expertise in planning and in onsite guidance. Food vendors had been instructed to use compostable containers and flatware for serving. Even the beer cups were compostable! Volunteers, including Danny and his team, manned multiple waste stations to ensure that trash was properly deposited into the right bin – 1. Compost; 2. Recycling; or 3. Landfill. Collective Resource hauled away forty 32-gallon totes filled with organic compostable waste (total weight – 1080 lbs) which amounts to .54 tons of waste diverted away from the landfill and the recycling bin to be sustainably composted! Collective Resource has expressed that “for a first-time composting presence, this partnership resulted in a SIGNIFICANT amount of diverted waste with relatively seamless execution!”. In addition to sponsorship and dedicated energies contributed by Danny and his team, Napleton’s Palatine Subaru also provided promotional and instructional signage. The onsite operation was unexpected and appreciated among fest attendees, fostering recognition and good will for Napleton’s Palatine Subaru and the partner organizations. This inaugural venture has jumpstarted momentum for similar success at future public events. Palatine Cool Cities, (a grassroots, all volunteer organization, and a local chapter of Go Green Illinois) had been engaged with Napleton Subaru as sustainability partners for over a year when Danny Napleton embraced the opportunity to collaborate with PCC on Oktoberfest, the first ever undertaking in Palatine to manage a low-waste public event. Napleton’s Palatine Subaru and Danny share PCC’s mission to reduce the carbon footprint at the individual, community, and societal level by managing/reducing/preventing waste and directly reducing emissions. Danny’s personal involvement throughout the project was enthusiastic and genuinely supportive. His purpose to support an important local environmental cause was clear and unwavering. Danny’s good nature made the interactions with him comfortable and productive. We are looking forward to future collaborations! Palatine Rotary Club is a civic service organization founded in 1964 to support the people of Palatine and to promote international understanding and friendship. Napleton’s Palatine Subaru is listed among the sponsors of the 2023 Oktoberfest on the Club’s website (and was, of course in the list of sponsors onsite at the event). Additionally, and separately, Napleton’s Palatine Subaru is recognized on the Palatine Rotary Club website as an Oktoberfest sustainability partner. https://youtube.com/shorts/3zay6alq-4E?si=nL17axT-c5ghNzVk

As an Leukemia & Lymphoma Society employee, I had a wonderful time assisting in a donation drop off for the Subaru Love to Care® program. I arrived at the Illinois Cancer Specialist center in Arlington Heights and was greeted by two staff members. We then met with three Napleton’s Palatine Subaru employees. Both parties expressed how grateful they were to be involved with this mission and process. The Napleton’s Palatine Subaru employees were so gracious and helpful carrying all the care kits and blankets into the center. I got to capture some terrific photos of a doctor, two staff members, and Subaru employees at the drop off. We were lucky to have some time to speak to amazing staff members who shared with us why these Subaru donations are so impactful for patients. One of the staff members said “their [the patients] doing something; their fighting for their lives,” which is why receiving warm blankets and thoughtful cards provides so much positivity. Staff at the center also shared that as soon as they put the blankets out, they are always gone by the end of the day. It was great to hear that, along with them sharing that on top of Subaru’s donations, other people in the community pitch in and donate handmade hats, pillows, and more. It is very evident to me that the patients at this center are well-cared for and loved by so many in the community. We are so grateful for Napleton’s Palatine Subaru and the staff members who love to participate in this program year after year.

Second City Canine Rescue had a wonderful adoption event at Napleton's Palatine Subaru on June 3, 2023! We showed up with 13 dogs and a dozen volunteers and the awesome Napleton staff didn't break a sweat. They moved a few cars out of the showroom and gave us plenty of space to spread the dogs out. This care for our dog's (and our) comfort was so appreciated! Helped by Napleton's great setup and promotion, we found homes for nine dogs in three hours! Those nine dogs are now living their best lives with their new parents and we have room in our rescue to save more lives. Thank you to the entire staff at Napleton's Palatine Subaru and letting your dealership go to the dogs for the day!

Second City Canine Rescue recently received some much needed support from Danny Napleton and the awesome staff of Napleton's Palatine Subaru. At Second City Canine Rescue, we depend on a successful fundraising gala to pay for much of our life-saving mission throughout the year. Danny and the awesome staff cheerfully provided support for our gala which is helping SCCR save more dogs in 2023. We at SCCR are so excited to have Danny and everyone at Napleton's Palatine Subaru in our corner and can't wait for our summer adoption event at their dealership. Pictured is Half Pint and his foster brother; just one of hundreds of dogs helped by Napleton's Palatine Subaru's generosity.

We hosted our second annual golf outing this fall, and it was an incredible success, raising over $80,000 for our scholars! Many thanks to Subaru for serving as a sponsor and for participating on the course. Our scholars enjoyed cheering on the golfers and learning a bit more about the sport of golf. This event helps us to send scholars to and through college!

In October of 2022, the dealership held a fundraising event for the Violet Foundation for Pediatric Brain Cancer. The effort included a donation per car sold and a donation per repair order, and generated over $10,000 donation from the dealership to the foundation. The foundation was established in honor of Violet Napleton, who passed away this year at 3 years old from a rare form of pediatric brain cancer DIPG. The foundation supports medical research as well as individual families through Lurie's Children's Hospital in Chicago.

This July, the Napleton Palatine Subaru team and myself had the pleasure of delivering 80 blankets and 25 arts & craft kits to the Illinois Cancer Specialists clinic in Arlington Heights, IL as part of Subaru’s Loves to Care program. Items of comfort like these show support and love to their cancer patients as they navigate their diagnosis and treatment journey. We were honored to be able to hand-deliver a blanket to Josephine, a current patient, and hope these blankets will provide for a brighter future for ICS patients. Many thanks to everyone at Napleton's Palatine Subaru for your continued support of LLS’s mission to cure blood cancers and improve the quality of life to patients and their families, and to the team at Illinois Cancer Specialists for all that you do for your patients!

We had an amazing year with Share the Love at Chicago Collegiate! The Palatine retailer raised $20,000 for our organization and we are so grateful. When we were back in person in the spring, we were even able to host the dealership owners and Subaru rep in person at our school so they could see the impact of their gift. They met our scholars, toured our Middle School building, and presented the check that would help us ensure our scholars achieve the futures they deserve. It was so special that they took the time to come out and visit us in addition to raising critical funds for us. Thank you, Subaru!

We are a small seasonal garden center located in Palatine. Every year when our season ends, we try to donate as many plants as we can at the end of the season to local non-profits. This year, our neighbor, Napleton's Palatine Subaru helped us go above and beyond. We were able to donate almost $10K worth of annuals, perennials and shrubs to several groups, including Habitat for Humanity, Partners for our Community, Little Sisters of the Poor & several local churches.

We are so thankful to Napleton's Arlington Heights Subaru for collecting donations for Wright-Way Rescue. We are a nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter and we rely on the community members to help us continue our mission. It’s because of locals like the ones at Subaru that we are able to continue saving lives and make differences to these dogs and cats. We are so grateful, and we know the animals are, too!

Community. It is a place to belong. It is a place to give back. And on August 6, members of the Arlington Heights community gathered together at the Illinois Cancer Specialists office. Samantha and Mary Ann from Napleton’s Subaru Arlington Heights were all smiles as they arrived at the facility. They piled up boxes upon boxes, eager to get their donation inside to the awaiting patients. Once the boxes, containing 80 blankets, were inside, the two women were greeted by the kind staff of Illinois Cancer Specialists. Together, the group set up a display of boxes and blankets, handing them out to a few patients as they left their appointments. Each patients’ face lit up as they were handed the gift – as did the faces of Sam and Mary Ann. Pleasantries were exchanged, stories shared, and connections were formed. It was a great day for all who attended. LLS is proud to partner with Subaru to spread hope, love and warmth to those fighting cancer, across the country and right here in the Arlington Heights community.

Wright-Way Rescue was kind enough to team up with us for our Subaru Loves Pets month! We created goodie bags for every dog that got adopted. There was even a Subaru dog collar for each dog! We want to give a huge thank you to those that even came by to drop off donations from Wright-Way Rescue's wish list. Since the event almost all of the dogs have found their forever home! It was a great event!

Wright-Way Rescue has partnered with Roto Subaru to highlight a senior dog as Pet of the Month each month. Roto Subaru and Wright-Way also have exciting events planned throughout the year in an on-going commitment to finding loving homes for the animals in Wright-Way's adoption program. Wright-Way Rescue is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Our mission is to reduce the number of homeless pets euthanized in the Midwest each year through an adoption program, community education, promotion of spaying and neutering, and a veterinary medicine program. We continue to save pets from rural animal control facilities where they are at a high risk of euthanasia, and instead offer them a second chance at a loving home in the Chicagoland area. We place more dogs in adoptive homes than any other rescue in the State of Illinois on just 10% of the budget.
